Comments on: Windows Vista: Retail, Upgrade, or OEM version?

My notebook came with the OEM version of Home Premium and lots of other junk software. I would like to know if OEM version can be "upgraded" using a RETAIL UPGRADE version of Home Premium? I know - strange question...

So your saying that you can upgrade windows xp in to windows vista OEM
coz it says that you can either choose upgrade or clean setup. is it really Capable for upgrade

Microsoft does not view private individuals who pay for their OEM software as genuine. Unless it was pre-installed by a Microsoft partner they will revoke your activation if the discover that you are using OEM software.

OEM sucks and mean I am screwed if they do not change it.
