The new beta of Microsoft Windows 7 came out and it looks great! Here are some helpful links to preview/check out and even download a copy of the beta version!

Download Windows 7 – either 32bit or 64 bit

Computer Requirements: (Minimum)

  • 1 GHz 32-bit or 64-bit processor

  • 1 GB of system memory

  • 16 GB of available disk space

  • Support for DirectX 9 graphics with 128 MB memory (to enable the Aero theme)

  • DVD-R/W Drive

  • Internet access (to download the Beta and get updates)

Make sure you do not install this on a computer you are using daily as it still is in a beta stage.  Also I highly recommend you backup any data you may have on that hard drive before installing Windows 7.
