Ever wonder if there’s a universal piece of software that all geeks have on their computer?? I’ve asked around and did my research and I’ve found there is one tool that most computer technicians have and recommend to their friends…
Before you get too excited, understand this is not the holy grail of computer anti-virus/malware/spyware.? It performs simple tasks but it saves space, daily system cleaning removing unwanted and temporary files, as well as can act as a full registry cleaner!
I recommend using CCleaner on your machine to optimize your PC to run much more efficient and faster.? Get rid of the old explorer file caches, URL history’s or stored cookies on?from your internet surfing.
“CCleaner also cleans temporary files and recent file lists for many applications. Including:
- Firefox, Opera, Safari, Media Player, eMule, Kazaa, Google Toolbar, Netscape, Microsoft Office, Nero, Adobe Acrobat Reader, WinRAR, WinAce, WinZip and more…”
This powerful can check for registry problems and inconsistencies.? It’s great for sensitive information that needs to be deleted as it overwrites the files before deleting them, removing any chance for data retrieval.
Best of all, its free and spyware free.

1CCleaner actually made some of my social programs not work or slow to a drag I dont know much about computers but yeah things went wrong on vista with CCleaner. Well on my old laptop which I sold : D The new system care 3 is stupid to the regular version 2 I think works waaaayyyy much better for vista. Its called Windows Advanced Care v2 so I really dont reccomend the new one called System Care 3 they renamed it which sucked for me and my vista laptop. I praise the reg backup tool : )
