How do I get rid of AV360? I have no idea how it got on my computer and I can’t
find it anywhere by searching.
AntiVirus 360 has become a major problem this year affecting hundreds of users with its tricky disguise.? AntiVirus 360 downloads to machines and displays fake scan results with large numbers of viruses and malware; most to all are non-existent.? The worst part about this program is that it prompts users to purchase upgrades and other portions of the software to remove these malicious files.? The AntiVirus 360 program downloads by means of trojan and will auto install itself.
Try these simple steps to remove it from your computer, but make sure you are very careful to get each file off!
1.? Open up your task manager and stop the process: “av360.exe and/or antivirus360.exe”
2.? Next, search for these files in an open windows and remove them(you may not find all of these files, but search and remove for all):
C:\Program Files\A360\
C:\Program Files\A360\av360.exe
av360.exe
antivirus360.exe
Antivirus 360.lnk
uninstall Antivirus 360.lnk
%UserProfile%\Desktop\Antivirus 360.lnk
%UserProfile%\Start Menu\Antivirus 360
%UserProfile%\Start Menu\Antivirus 360\Antivirus 360.lnk
%UserProfile%\Start Menu\Antivirus 360\Help.lnk
%UserProfile%\Start Menu\Antivirus 360\Registration.lnk
3.? Remove the following Registry Keys (again, you may not find all of these on your machine, but search for all listings):
— To get to your registry editor, click Start>>Run>>Type in “regedit.exe”>>OK
**To search for registry keys, open the Edit Tab and then Find or “Ctrl + F”
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run Antivirus 360

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AV360
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\?AV360?

4I’m looking for a free antivirus software for Windows XP and every one that I’ve found so far has not worked. I have a virus and nothing seems to remove it… any recommendations?
