We had a wonderful decade from 2000 to 2009 but it’s out with the old and in with the new!
Some of us received some great new tech gadgets over the holidays while others can now grab up some delicious deals as stores are looking to empty inventory.? Don’t be surprised to see some new and exciting gadgets roll out in the up and coming months that will revolutionize this new era.
While we’ve all made our resolutions to eat less, work out more, spend time with our loves one…etc, don’t forget to make your new years technology resolutions.? Here are some ideas:
1.? I’ll try to be a better internet browser and surf smarter. Just like our dieting habits, you don’t have to cut out surfing on the internet, you just have to be smarter about it!? Make purchases from sites having the “https” for secure transactions or try not to visit sites you wouldn’t be able to spell.? If you have a weird feeling about downloading something for free, you’re probably better off without it.
2.? I promise not to illegally download music! A big one for the up and coming generation; try not to steal!? Use other alternatives such as GrooveShark.com or ask friends and family for iTunes gift cards to purchase music instead…you’ll feel better about it and you avoid the risk of getting caught and paying a high fine.
3.? I’ll try to educate more people about technology and help them become safer computer users. Become the new computer guru on the block and help out some of the elder folk on the street learn to use their computer rather then fear it.? If you found a cool website or program, share it rather then forget it!
I hope everyone had a wonderful 2009 and an even better 2010.? Happy New Years everyone!
